Chesapeake Bay Program partners have committed to taking a series of specific actions to support the management approaches guiding this outcome. 2020
- Supported the development and implementation of two-year milestones.
- Provided support for the reporting of monitoring data (tidal and nontidal) into the Chesapeake Bay clearinghouse and the Water Quality Exchange from traditional and nontraditional partners.
- Developed new methods for assessing incremental progress towards water quality standards attainment, for assessing trends in estimated water quality standards attainment over time, and for analyzing the spatial-temporal changes in estimated water quality standards attainment.
2018-2019
- Supported the development and implementation of Phase III Watershed Implementation Plans.
- Identified the available soil phosphorus data and incorporated it into the Phase 6 Model.
- Identified possible additional sources of county-level soil phosphorus data.
- Supported the development and implementation of agricultural certainty programs in Bay watershed states.
